If you entered this group, chances are you either own, once owned, would like to own, or are simply a fan of Japanese vehicles.

In a way, being a Japanese classic car enthusiast is a new phenomenon.  A few decades ago, any product that came out of Asia was considered cheap and of poor quality.  At times they were even thought of as just ugly, disposable, basic forms of transportation.  Not until recently were these cars getting the attention they deserve.  After the emergence of luxury marques like Lexus, Infinity, and Acura, the Japanese proved they can weigh against, and even surpass the world's top automotive builders.  I'm glad much of the automotive community is now starting to recognize them for their true value.

If you don't already own one, now is a great time to hunt for a Japanese classic!  Since the trend is still in its infancy, most of these vehicles are still within reach for almost any budget.  Many of these vehicles were neglected because some were considered obsolete and perceived to have no significant value.  The good news is that parts are still reasonably easy to find at the dealer or even at your local wrecking yard.

If you would like to share tips, interesting finds, how-to's, pictures, need advice, or even have stories to tell related to classic Japanese vehicles, this is the place to do it!  Go-go Nostalgic hero!  I also encourage everyone to start forums on specific models that interest you.
