This Group was created for those of us who not only want to help the enviornment, be we want to go faster! As a few of you may know, there is the NHRA (National Hot Road Association) and the NEDRA (National Electric Drag Racing Association). Both of these organizations have sanction racing (Drag Racing) events for electric vehicles.

The one part that i noticed whe trying to find parts to make an electric cehicle was that the normal everyday items such as tires, wheels, and racing seats, were readily availiable, electric motors, and batteries are hard to come by. I relized by visiting www.poormansev.com that if you can find a forklift, you can find an electric motor. He also shows how to build one for cheap.
