Show off your ride, your work, your tips, and discuss technical issues in themed Van Tech Forum topics.

Shout about your Show'n'Shines, Cruise Nights, Jamborees in the Van Events Forum topic.

There may be forum posts and topics that may be impossible to avoid inappropriate language and content (ie. Old School/Nu Skool Vanner Culture Forum topic), but please let's try to use restraint.

The Tips, Suggestions, Links, Scrutiny Forum topic is where your feedback is important in moulding the most useful Vanners Group Home Pages. Do you have a web site link where you've gotten help with your projects?

Please add your post(s) to the appropriate forum(s) only.

VANNERS

Welcome to the first Vanner Group on CarDomain

(to my knowledge)!

In The Spotlight!

www.MyChevyVan.com

Here is an online automotive community that's been recently launched. I am not about registering for every automotive web site out there, but I did join this one... I think it will take shape to serve it's community in a way that's a little different than anything else I've seen.

MyChevyVan.com is a site designed by those who want to keep alive the spirit of the classic Chevy van. The owner, Adam Pellegrini, owns a Spirit of '76 Chevy Van and is currently working on a building a replica of the A-Team van to exact (or almost :) detail.

"Really, the cool thing about the site is I really did build it because I love Chevy Van's and have always had van projects going on forever." Adam says that if the community requests certain features (I personally hope he can make it easy to locate tech articles), it's easy for him to add the module to the site!

MyChevyVan.com is volunteer based and any ad revenue goes back into the site, design and building out the functionality (not a money maker).

The ultimate vision of the site is to showcase one of the most amazing vehicles ever produced, the Chevy Van.

"MrAngry says Vans are
"Just Plain Cool!"

Mike Musto (aka Mr. Angry), driver of the 01 1968 Black Dodge Charger on Bullrun last year, is a new blog contributor on CarDomain! One of his first blog entries is how he thinks early vans are "Just Plain Cool!"

He has been active on CarDomain since his run on the show, right in there with the Mopar groups, and I think he's partial to Dodge earlies! Help him decide to fix up a van for his next project! You guys near Queens, NY should drop him a line, and get him to a council eVANt, and show him what Vanning is REALLY all about!

I remember in the show that he beat some dudes in a slalom challenge with the Charger (Italy and Japan couldn't rock him)! I was so disappointed when he was eliminated, but he lost to a Camaro and an F150 that were almost 40 years younger than the Charger!

Anyway, I think it's cool that a car celebrity agrees... "VANS ARE JUST PLAIN COOL"!

Julie, January 29, 2008 is the day that MrAngry said your van is "Just Plain Cool!"

Nautilus Video!

Vanner member Virtual posted this cool vid of fellow member vanninvanner's Nautilus, a chopped and candied custom '76 Dodge!

The Mo'van!

The Mo'van

When Vanner member Michael (aka Movanner) goes to a Truck In, you can find him bootin' around in his modified lawn tractor done up as a replica of a '69 Chev SportVan!

Check out his antics, evidence in his posted videos! He's got the vannin' bug bad!

Within 24 hours of posting his videos, the Mo'van was featured in the
CarDomain Blog - November 10, 2007

On November 13, 2007, the Mo'van Videos were featured on the

CarDomain home page!  Congrats Movanner!

The DODGE RAM VAN Group on CarDomain!

DODGE RAM VAN Group

Mopar Vanners have another place to go where they can talk about stuff that only Mopar fans would understand! Vanner member Alex (aka dodgerambighorn) knows, as he's put together a sweet ride of his own! He welcomes anyone who's pushing Mopar power, but definitely wants Dodge Vanners to represent!

Forum topics are set up to encourage interraction on a variety of topics including Buy and Sell, and Horse Power!

Keep up the good work, dodgerambighorn! Mopar Vanners definitely have a home here, too, so don't go anywhere!

Thanx to Jen and CarDomain! We are featured in the CarDomain Blog as
"Group of the Day" - August 30, 2007

Why did I create the group?

Not because I'm an expert, but rather I wanted a simple place to find Vanner information.

Finding Vanner resources anywhere is difficult, but we can create a place where we can show off our rides, share ideas about our projects, reflect on Old School Vanner Culture, or embrace what it means to be a Vanner of today.

Ever try finding aftermarket parts to hop up your van?

We're on our own, it seems. I hope that our community can grow, and attract the attention of manufacturers and retailers out there. Wouldn't it be nice if modding our rides were as simple as it is for car and truck owners?

Please join this group if you are (or were) a Vanner, have Vanner events or tech advice to share, or have products that Vanners should know about. Your ride and forum posts could be featured on the Vanner Group main pages, which will increase hit traffic to your pages... maybe boost your ratings... definitely connect you to cool fellow Vanners!
